The bodies of wrestler Chris Benoit, his wife Nancy, and their 7 y.o. son Daniel were found after the wrestler missed an engagement to attend due to a “family crisis”. NEW EXCLUSIVE UPDATE!

World Wrestling Entertainment: Authorities are investigating, but no other details are available at this time.
Benoit was scheduled to appear at a pay-per-view event last night … WWE said that there was a “family emergency” that prevented him from being there.
As soon as I find out more about his death/murder, I’ll promptly update the site. Instead of its announced programming for tonight on USA Network, WWE will air a three-hour tribute to Chris Benoit. Damn, they are quick! It’s sad, he’s was one of the cool wrestlers. My husband and I have been watching Monday Night Raw and Smackdown for some time now, so this does come as a shock to us.
UPDATE: Benoit, his wife Nancy and young son Daniel were all found dead at their suburban Atlanta home at about 2:30 (et). Tommy Pope of the Fayette County, Georgia Sheriff’s Department told ABC News that Benoit missed several appointments over the weekend and neighbors and WWE personnel both asked the local police for a “welfare check.” and the bodies were found.
Pope indicated there were no signs of gunshot wounds or stabbing but said the instruments of death were located on scene and the police were not actively searching for any suspects outside of the house.
An autopsy is scheduled for Tuesday morning at 10 a.m. (et).
